Jeffrey M. Rickman, PhD is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and a Professor of Physics at Lehigh University. Professor Rickman joined Lehigh in 1993 after postdoctoral appointments at Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Michigan. His many research interests include: methods for data analytics, computer simulation methodologies, defect elasticity, kinetics of phase transformations, mechanical properties of ceramic oxides and colloidal self-assembly. He has won several awards, including including the Young Investigator Award from the National Science Foundation and the Chambers Junior Professorship and the Culler Prize (Miami University).
